A simple farmhouse table, I built out of dimensional lumber while renovating my kitchen, started what has become known as Unrefined Roots. This table led to a matching console table and bench, and my personal Facebook page being taken over by woodworking. I created the Unrefined Roots Facebook page as a way to track my personal projects, and to spare my friends and family from constant posting.

Soon after, friends 'pressured' me into selling them items when they were looking for gifts for those hard to find shoppers. This led to participating in arts and craft shows in the Raleigh, NC area. I have been moving away from working with pine, and predominantly work with hardwoods and live edge slabs these days. More products will be added as we go, as I love trying new things that challenge me.
